AreanXeric Subtype Mars-like world, partially terraformed before the Version War. A minor non-aligned Inner Sphere system, its main claim to fame is that it was the birthplace and home of Admiral Tka Lett-Vorek, the commander of the Interplanetary Combined Fleet. Now a major pilgramage site for a number of Anthropist clades, tolerated by the locals only because of the tourist economy.
The desert tribes of the Syrtis region developed a Luddite culture and were forced to flee the 12 Ophiuchi system, arriving in the new Arkab Prior Necklace in the 7000's to become the Elsirac Ordinaries.
