Unfortunately, quarks don't exist on their own. Unlike fossil fuels, there's no primordial source which one could make use of. Quarks are obtained by splitting protons and neutrons, which requires the input of just as much (well, somewhat more, actually) energy as would be released when they're fused back together again.
