Animin Power

Animin power

An animin Power is an animin that has achieved the second or third toposophic but retains animin traits; that is to say they are entities which have evolved to have little or nothing in common with human mentality. There are perhaps a few million. Like lower level animins, Animin Powers are extremely diverse and highly unpredictable.

Animin powers appear to be fairly widespread in the Panvirtuality and Diamond Network, and some, if not most transapients in these metaempires have at least some animin characteristics.

Although comparisons are problematic, the xenosophont AI known as the System of Response appears to have many animin characteristics; it is widely distributed yet single-minded and has no discernible sense of self-awareness.

A transingularity, but not hypersingularity, transapient sentient. Generally, any entity of S1 or greater, often with the implication that this entity was once an ordinary sophont/sapient being (specific types might be hyperturing AI, posthuman, postvec, postxenosopont, etc.). The term "power" is sometimes also used, although this more properly refers to beings intermediate between S1 (superintelligence - hyperturing or posthuman) and S2.
