Magellanica 1, the first interstellar colony ship from the South American Space Alliance (including Gran Colombia, Federation of Brazil and the Argentinian States). Only the second stage is shown; the much larger first stage consisted of a Daedalus-type boost system powered by fusion pellets. The South American Alliance declined any assistance from GAIA, and launched three ships to 18 Scorpii using their own resources. Only two arrived.
