Beta Leonis An A-Class star 36 light years from Sol, luminosity 12 x Sol; rapid rotation has led to an oblate appearance. This star was surrounded by a circumstellar dusty cloud, which was converted to a power-collection swarm.

Important Virginis Combine amat centre, before being taken over by an unusual blight and suffering hyperbolic collapse. Now surrounded by an apparently benign nanoecology and debris field. Note that travellers are advised to take care in this system.

Hazard Rating 2.5
