It's a really good space game man
It has orbital mechanics, fuel limits, and somewhat realistic space combat... as realistic as you can get with Pulse Cannons and Lasers. Unfortunately, it has no story, which sucks.

This screen capture intrigues me; it looks like a procedurally-generated hi-tech city. Something I've been anticipating for a long time. The background texture is a bit naff, though; and the models don't display shadows on the planetary surface.
Are there many games that include this sort of detail? (I'm not a gamer).

I have no idea; I haven't played many games (I would estimate that I've only played around 40 so far!). Still, I like Pioneer's Orbital Mechanics.
