Hello there!
I am a recent forum member and I would like to say hi to all of you. I started reading OA more "consistently" the last couple of years, though I was aware of it for more than a decade. Unfortunately, due to my work as a faculty/researcher at the university, I don't have as much time as I would like to dive in deep into the expanded lore; but even in this case, in my free time I totally enjoy going over Encyclopedia Galactica and read articles about future tech, mega-engineering, post/trans-humanism, and others. I am particularly fascinated with computer-related mega-engineering projects (concepts such as M/J/S/W-brains are among my favorites), alongside the vast culture landscape in the Terragen Sphere and beyond. Also, stories such as the Triangulum transmission and Meistersingers are captivating and thought-provoking.
In any case, I would like to express my gratitude to all the people writing stories and articles in OA. Their work sometimes becomes inspiration for some real-world applications, something which sci-fi always excelled at.
Keep up the good work!
