[split] The Garden Worlds article off topic questions
#18
First things first:

Kindly stop daisy chaining past posts/replies together and including them in every subsequent reply you make. That is not how this community operates. Our expectation is that you should trim your replies to only include the text you are replying to. And it is certainly in no way necessary to include all the text of your previous replies.

Doing what you've been doing just clutters up the threads with repetitive text that doesn't actually advance the conversation.

You can see examples of the posting norms of this community operate all over the forum. If you're not sure how what we do is done, let us know and we can show you how to post appropriately.

Second -

Incomplete, vague, and uninformative sentence fragment posts (aka technobabble word salad), whether made in reply to another post as as a standalone are not acceptable here. Interjecting them into the middle of an ongoing discussion even less so. They waste everyone's time and don't explain or inform in any way. If you are one of that subspecies of internet life that thinks this kind of thing makes you sound smart or wise or the like - you are very much wrong and you will very quickly learn that that kind of behavior is not tolerated here.

If you are not one of that particular subspecies of internet life - kindly start behaving like a human being and engage in real posts and discussions using real sentences, links to appropriate references, etc. Again, there is an entire forum of this kind of thing to refer to as examples if you are unclear on what we mean here.

If you want to ask constructive questions about the OA setting and how and why it operates the way it does - we are quite willing and happy to answer.

If you have some new idea that you think we might be interested in, you are welcome to share - by posting in complete and coherent sentences and providing links to useful references (peer reviewed scientific journals are especially helpful).

Third -

There have been distant astronomical objects observed that appear to be moving FTL. They aren't really. There are also a host of phenomena that move FTL, but cannot carry any useful information or be used for transmitting information or moving matter around FTL. See link below - specifically under astronomical observations:

From this article you can find a large number of references that can provide more detail.

Finally -

As mentioned, this thread is about a specific topic. Interjecting random off topic questions about why someone has a particular username or the like does not advance the discussion, wastes everyone's time, and is rude on general principles. Cease and desist, please.
