Today, the discovery of the possible second planet in the Beta Pictoris system was announced.
From what little we know about this new world, it orbits ~2.7 AU away from the star, in a moderately eccentric orbit with e = ~0.24. This brings it as close to the star as 2 AU and as far as 3.35 AU. Its minimum mass is ~9 times Jupiter. Assuming similar inclination as Beta Pictoris b, this should be close to its true mass.
