A limitation of any encryption scheme is that it assumes that whatever is being encrypted isn't available through some other pathway. Unfortunately for lesser intelligences in OA, high transophics can directly access their thoughts via DNI or remote sensing and indirectly by creating simulations of them. However, I suspect that various scenarios can be constructed in which those workarounds would be extremely difficult.
