Hawking's fear of Artificial Intelligence

I'm not sure I agree with Hawking's specific fears, and I agree he's extending himself into fields he's not an expert in, but he's certainly not the only one who's nervous. Bostrom's latest book (Superintelligence) laid out the dangers of AI and why it could be dangerous quite nicely I thought.
