Greetings OA peeps.
My name is terranova210486. I've been a fan of OA for a very long time, in fact, I wrote the orginal VirchMon page years ago:

I might do a rewrite later
I love science fiction, fantasy and alternate history. So I might write some EG articles based on those themes but still keeping to the OA canon.
Looking forward to contributing to this setting!

Greetings.
I like some alternate history stories: "The Man in the High Castle" by Philip K. Dick, for one.
There was a novel (can't remember title or author) in which the Celtic peoples were never squeezed out between the Germans and the Romans. Not a bad what-if story.
The best, though, was a short story (again I can't remember title or author) in which a Persian official is sent to conquered Athens to find out the name of their king so that he can be entered into the King of King's lists of conquests.
The official is at his wits end trying to dig up the name of the Athenian king. All he can find is fragments of documents in which "the People of Athens decided to...." or "The Assembly of the People reached agreement on a policy...." Who cares about the damn people! Who was their king?!
The theme of the story, obviously, is how fragile democracy is. One wrong step and it's gone.
Anyway, welcome back.
