Hey, my name is Jeff Patterson and I have been a long-time reader of this site (though I have been slacking off of late)
Lifelong SF fan. Currently a contributor to SF Signal, and a co-host of the Three Hoarseman podcast. Also do the occasional column for the SF Book Club.
I tend to skew towards Space Opera (rereading George Zebroski's Omega Point Trilogy now). Big into comics. Not a gamer. Not a movie-goer.
Just posted a link up in the fiction section to my work in progress, called Tables of the Canon. It's not OA, but certainly inspired by it. It's full of transapients and slighty-crazy utility swarms and fairly ancient machine gods.
Anyways, glad to finally be here.
