Hey everyone on the Orion's Arm Forum,

I've finally decided to take the plunge and join the community. I've been meaning to do this for a while, but I was both nervous about the high quality of content here (unsure if I could contribute) and distracted by other fiction projects. My name is LesbianSpiderDrone and I'm excited to contribute and share my ideas with all of you.

A bit about me: I'm a very sapphic person with a passion for spiders (all types!) and group minds. I'm hoping to write content that not only reflects my personal beliefs and aesthetics but also resonates with the community here. I'm a transhumanist anarchist vegan with a love for xeno-romance and weird fiction. I'm looking forward to exploring these interests with all of you.

Please feel free to join in on any discussions that catch your interest or to start new ones if there's something you'd like to discuss that we aren't currently. Also, please feel free to ask any questions you might have about the setting or the Orion's Arm project more generally.

We also have a Discord channel for more general discussion although a certain amount of initial world building also takes place there before proposals or draft articles are brought to the forum. Although proposals and draft articles starting here is also the norm and also fine.
