Bio-Inspired Morphing Systems - JohnnyYesterday - 03-29-2014 I posted this over on Project Hieroglyph, hopefully someone will pick this concept up again before too long and realize it. http://hieroglyph.asu.edu/forums/topic/morphing-structural-systems/ I'll write up an EG about it, incorporating my Utility Foam tweak, before too long. Until then, how I picture the robotic "carabiner" is like an ouroboros with four or six legs. The "mouth" is the female end of a quick connect fitting, and the tail ends in a male. It's very flexible, like a snake. |
