Reminds me of the fictional 'Kozuch Theory' from Greg Egan's Diaspora. Whether it is realistic or not I couldn't say.

Too early to say, much like the current black hole firewall paradox.

But the previous results look like an Einstein-Rosen bridge: a non-traversable wormhole.
