I think soon he'll release a sky and plant color calculator which will be better for more specific cases and non earth like atmospheres. For now this is what weve i got i guess

As best I can determine, the OA Forum does not provide any notification to a user that they’ve been “mentioned,” although I am a member of others which do. The AVS Forum, for example.

The forum allows you to private message people which (if they have an email) sends an email notification to them and makes a banner appear across the top of the forum letting them know they have one or more PMs.
There's also a thread subscription which may also send you emails if someone posts to a thread you are subscribed to. It's been quite a while since I've used that function so my memory is fuzzy on the details.
There is no 'mentioned' function. It might or might not be available within the MyBB suite of add-ons/plug-ins but I don't think we've ever seen a need for such a thing.

These are fun.
We have an article on the color of alien skies. Perhaps we should check it against these resources and make tweaks if needed.
We could also post the link to at least the first in the Development Notes or Additional Information sections of the article depending on whether or not we make changes based on them.
Finally, we could add the links to our Worldbuilding Resources page.

I've checked them against our page, and it is quite obvious that Luke's work is more accurate and comprehensive. When the new updates are finished, I'll approach him and see what we can use.

I think it's worth mentioning that most plants on Earth are of a far from optimum colour if the criterion is efficiency of light absorption. The reason why plants are green is, of course, that green light is preferentially reflected rather than absorbed; but the peak of light intensity from Sol is in the green, so chlorophyll is pretty inefficient. Why? Evolution; it just happens that chlorophyll was the first pigment to be used, and evolution doesn't allow radical redesigns.
It might well be that alien plants use a more efficient light absorber, even in Earthlike conditions.
Just my $0.02.

I believe this is the model Luke has used to create his chart of plant colours. As you can see the predicted peaks are not quite in line with the actual absorbtion of light on Earth, but it is pretty good.
