I would say that it's close to OA compatible, but our wormholes work a bit differently in some of the details.
So close, but not exactly OA.

The early part of the video is more-or-less exactly how I imagine OA wormholes. The transition region in OA is a bit larger, but you probably wouldn't notice that.
This page has some good animations that show how the spherical region of spacetime around a wormhole briefly distorts into a flat infinite plane as you pass through.
