Scott Manley's wormhole visualization - The Architect - 05-05-2020 I have been intrigued by his recent videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7e-1bRpweo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVO8nvb1o2w I wonder if this is OA compatible? RE: Scott Manley's wormhole visualization - Drashner1 - 05-06-2020 I would say that it's close to OA compatible, but our wormholes work a bit differently in some of the details. So close, but not exactly OA. Todd RE: Scott Manley's wormhole visualization - stevebowers - 05-06-2020 The early part of the video is more-or-less exactly how I imagine OA wormholes. The transition region in OA is a bit larger, but you probably wouldn't notice that. This page has some good animations that show how the spherical region of spacetime around a wormhole briefly distorts into a flat infinite plane as you pass through. https://www.spacetimetravel.org/wurmlochflug/wurmlochflug.html |
