Main Page Update - Drashner1 - 11-06-2019
Hello all,
We're currently trying out a modification to the OA Homepage with an eye to putting greater emphasis on the fiction/narrative aspects of the OA project.
Specifically, we've added a new bullet point with links to the introductory text that take the reader directly to our fiction pages and the character profiles page.
One of the goals the Editors have decided to focus on as we move into and through 2020 is greater visibility for the narrative aspect of the OA project and (hopefully) the addition of more stories set in the OA future. This is a first step in that direction.
Please look it over and tell us what you think - both about this specific change and the wider idea of an increased focus on OA fiction. Additional suggestions and ideas for improving and/or expanding this aspect of the project are also welcome.

Because that character page actually doesn't have that many of the available OA characters

also I could put them in a table like the wormhole gazetteer
since there's so many personalities,
but i'll keep it to the alphabetical list for now + links
Ideally i't would be nice to have a table of small square images of character faces but the CMS doesn't quite do that the way i'd need it to, so i'll stick to words

Nice upgrade!
That said - a couple of suggestions:
a) I'd suggest bumping size of the link text up a bit to make it stand out more. You can play around with the header options available in the CMS and see what looks best and then overlay a link on that. It doesn't need to be huge, but a bit bigger would be good.
b) I'd suggest increasing the spacing between the different sections to make them stand out more.
