A 'barkbat' from the planet Trees. A large predator, the barkbat clings to the trunks of the skywracks and uses its wings in a gliding flight to hunt other creatures that live in the canopy.

Its barklike skin and appearance provides camoflage when clinging to the trunks of the skywracks during its dormant periods between feedings, and while the creature climbs in order to gain height.
