Implanted memories indistinguishable from the real thing. Even more difficult to distinguish from the real thing is tandomising with rl - one may travel as far as an orbital, then have a totalrecall of a trip to the surface, the two experiences being seamlessly combined. Totalrecalls and tandemrecalls are especially popular for regions where travel is forbidden, or for individuals who wish to experience a particularly hazardous adventure or sport, but for philosophical or financial reasons cannot afford to, or do not wish to, risk their physical body in the process.
