The Klixix are one of a very large number of isolationist clades, presumably Diamond Network in origin. The name is based on the staccato nature of their communications (if indeed these intense bursts of EM radiation are communications, and not just, as some have suggested, a side-effect of their ship's drive system). Despite some local mythology that the Klixix are authentic alien bionts, it is almost certain that they are a clade of highly derived Terragen aioids, possibly employing transapientech, and descended from early exploration isolationist ai, although their association with the Diamond Network and/or the Solipsist Panvirtuality is still unclear.
