Perhaps this world was dismantled to create the wormhole, although I am fairly sure this would need the permission of the local To'ul'hs or their representatives.

Recent information about the formation of terrestrial planets suggests they might be even more varied than we expect. Shortly after the formation of such a planet, it is so hot that it enters a runaway greenhouse state. So a planet with lots of water could lose some, most or all of its liquid before the crust cools. Starting from very similar starting conditions, terrestrial worlds could have very different water content and ocean cover.

A broken link on the article for Brobdingnag.
Quote:As of 10,600AT, most of Brobdingnag’s population of 75 million lives in the Fuselage’s habitats. These habitats vary but are primarily conventional Stanford toruses and <{A475a0f16edaa8,O’Neill cylinders}> with maximum dimensions of one hundred kilometers, though most reside in centi-G towers built up against the Fuselage’s hull.

Hi all - this article on my philosophy (http://www.orionsarm.com/eg-article/45e4e76d8d928) makes a mistake in the first paragraph: Advaita Vedanta was not founded by Gaudapada nor Shankara, but merely promulgated and taught by them.
