Would it be possible to create a "star" with less than 0.08 solar masses composed of pure deuterium?

Based on this wikipedia page, it appears that not only is the answer 'yes' but that this is already going on in nature in a way. I say 'in a way' since the article also includes caveats about consumption of deuterium and temperature. Also, I didn't convert the masses given in the article to see if your suggested mass is in the same range as that mentioned in the wiki article or not.
