Standard Year
The same duration as the Metric Year (which may be divided into milliyears, microyears and so on).

One Earth (or Lunar) year, used by some polities and clades as a galactic standard measurement of time (however the Coronese, Edenese and other Years are often used as well or instead). The widespread use of the Standard year is due in part to the widespread use of the Tranquility Calendar, and the common use of light-years as a measure of distance.
